The Manager R&D Transformation, Adoption & Governance ensures that digital transformation initiatives deliver sustainable value across R&D. Embedded within R&D, this role acts as its driving force of digital transformation, owning R&D-side coordination, governance, change management and adoption.

What Your Day To Day Will Look Like
- Act as digital expert inside R&D by maintaining working-level understanding of central initiatives such as Veeva implementation, Digital Strategy and Data Governance, Data Lakehouse, Document Management and AI-based solutions - forming R&D perspective grounded in R&D workflows and constraints
- Support decision-making and alignment in central initiative steering committees and relevant working groups
- Manage R&D-side activities across multiple complex digital initiatives, including tracking dependencies, readiness, governance, and change impacts
- Perform cross-R&D analyses and create re-usable overviews of relevant digital information to support transformation initiatives and prevent repetitive SME requests.
- Translate technical solutions into clear, R&D-relevant guidance and documentation
- Own R&D change management for digital capabilities and governance practices, including communications, training enablement, and adoption monitoring
- Coordinate training activities with central teams and vendors
- Track adoption and value realization using meaningful indicators and drive continuous improvement
Your Qualifications and Experience
Your Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Informatics, or related field
- Strong experience in pharma R&D environments and processes
- Proven experience in and enthusiasm for digital transformation, adoption and change management
- Experience with IT systems and data in regulated environments (GxP); Veeva experience is a strong plus
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Structured, pragmatic, and execution-oriented mindset with ability to drive projects forward
- Analytical capability to create overview of complex situations and work in multi-initiative environment with shifting priorities

- Due to legal requirements, we are obliged to disclose the collective agreement minimum salary, which is EUR 54.642 gross per year, based on full-time employment. However, our actual remuneration packages are market-oriented and aligned with your qualifications and professional experience.
