International Market Access Manager, US Market (f/m/d)

In this role, you will be an instrumental team member to plan and execute AOP Health’s first US product launch and provide input to the pricing and reimbursement strategies and tactics. In addition, you will be responsible for evaluating business development opportunities for the US market.

What Your Day To Day Will Look Like

  • Based in our international headquarters, you serve as the main point of contact for our US Market Access team for all product-related market access topics
  • You have a critical role in supporting the launch planning and execution for AOP’s first US product entry
  • You provide cross-functionally aligned product materials to our US-team to support the development of our US market access and pricing strategies and related tactics
  • In collaboration with the US market access team, you develop value propositions for our product(s)
  • You critically review and approve the pricing and reimbursement materials developed by the US team
  • You are a sparring partner for the US team to discuss market access challenges and solution development
  • To enhance product adoption, you support the US team to develop customised value messages for payers and providers and for use in patient initiatives
  • You provide support for health economics evidence generation based on US market data
  • In addition, you assess pricing and reimbursement potential in the US for development compounds and/or licensing assets
  • As active member of global brand teams, you foster cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment of HEOR/market access strategies with commercial and medical function taking into consideration the US perspective

Your Qualifications and Experience

  • University degree in natural sciences, pharmacy or medicine
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in pharmaceutical industry, with a focus in Market Access and HEOR
  • US Market Access experience is a must, with thorough understanding of the payer environment and the pricing and reimbursement mechanisms in the US
  • Additional European market access experience a plus
  • Self-motivating personality with willingness to learn, can-do attitude and hands-on approach
  • High-level project management and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize and deliver to deadlines and budget
  • Proven ability to work in a matrix environment
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
