Vice President Finance (interim) (f/m/d)

AOP Health is the European pioneer for integrated therapies for rare diseases and in critical care. To enhance our team in Vienna we are looking for a:

AOP Health is seeking a Vice President of Finance to oversee our global financial operations. Based at our Vienna headquarters, this role plays a pivotal part in shaping our financial strategy, optimizing processes, and driving digital transformation.
As VP Finance, you will lead the global finance team, collaborate with leadership, and ensure our financial structure supports sustainable growth and strong investor relations.

• Oversee AOP Health´s Accounting, Controlling, Tax, and Treasury functions.
• Optimize and continuously develop financial processes and digital transformation initiatives.
• Lead and mentor a global finance team of 35 members, including five direct reports.
• Work closely with executive leadership, external advisors, and regulatory authorities.
• Report regularly to the Executive Leadership Team on financial performance; provide regular insight on financial results and best practices.
• Drive the company’s long-term financial planning, supporting its capital market readiness and sustainable growth strategy.

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Tax, or Controlling (additional qualifications in Business Law or Tax Consulting are a plus).
• Extensive international experience in consulting and/or industry, with full P&L responsibility.
• Strong expertise in Treasury and core financial processes.
• Proven background in investor relations, particularly in capital markets and investor engagement.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, with a track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
• A strategic mindset paired with hands-on operational expertise.
• Fluent in English, with excellent intercultural communication skills.
