Principal Supplier Relations (f/m/d)

As Principal Supplier Relations you will be thcentral point of contact for both suppliers and internal stakeholders. You will drive strategic partner selection and collaboration, manage and evaluate manufacturers, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality, compliance, and efficiency across the value chain.

What Your Day To Day Will Look Like

  • Lead and strengthen our partnerships with suppliers and ensuring performance excellence throughout our supply chain.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for suppliers and internal stakeholders within Technical Operations
  • Develop strategies for the selection and collaboration with suppliers – taking into account quality, regulatory requirements and cost-efficiency
  • Manage existing API and finished product manufacturers and evaluate new Contract Manufacturers (CMOs) to optimize the value chain
  • Work closely with Pharmaceutical Development and Regulatory Affairs to identify alternative manufacturers for existing and new products
  • Take responsibility for contract negotiations and monitor contractual obligations

Your Qualifications and Experience

  • Completed university degree, ideally with a background in natural sciences, engineering or business
  • 10+ years of professional experience in supply chain, contract manufacturing, or procurement within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience in international project management, especially in technology transfers
  • Proven negotiation, networking and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of GxP, GMP and regulatory compliance.
  • Business fluent in English and proficient in standard IT applications
