We are looking for a Senior Manager Treasury who will lead global treasury activities and ensure sustainable funding of our growth strategy. You will safeguard liquidity, manage financial risks, and act as a strategic partner for pipeline investments, licensing deals, and international expansion.
What Your Day To Day Will Look Like
Liquidity & Cash Management
- Lead global cash positioning and forecasting (short- and long-term)
- Optimize working capital and intercompany funding structures
- Ensure sufficient funding for R&D, clinical programs, and operations
Financing & Capital Structure
- Support debt financing and capital market transactions
- Evaluate funding strategies for clinical development, M&A, licensing, and CapEx
- Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions
Risk, Operations & Governance
- Develop and execute FX and interest rate hedging strategies
- Oversee cash pooling, bank accounts, and treasury systems
- Ensure robust internal controls and regulatory compliance
- Maintain strong treasury governance and support audits
Strategic Business Partnering
- Collaborate with FP&A, Business Development, and Commercial teams
- Support financial modelling and funding strategies for pipeline investments , licensing and M&A
Your Qualifications And Experience
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar
- CFA, ACT, CTP, or similar certification is a plus
- 8+ years of treasury or corporate finance experience
- Experience in pharma, biotech, or life sciences preferred
- Strong expertise in cash forecasting, hedging instruments, and financial modelling
- Experience with TMS and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Initial leadership experience and strong stakeholder management skills
- Strategic mindset with operational execution capability
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment
- High integrity and strong governance orientation
- Strong analytical and risk assessment skills

- Due to legal requirements, we are obliged to disclose the collective agreement minimum salary, which is EUR 49.840,- gross per year, based on full-time employment. However, our actual remuneration packages are market-oriented and aligned with your qualifications and professional experience.
