In this position, you'll provide cross-functional legal & compliance support, all in compliance with statutory laws and regulations, company policies and industry standards. Collaborating with external counsel globally, you'll play a key role in mitigating compliance risks and supporting departments both locally and internationally. Compliance will be a focus area in your daily work.

What Your Day To Day Will Look Like
- Providing guidance and advice on compliance matters, including
- Implementing all compliance related activities within the AOP Health Group
- Creating, initiating, coordinating, reviewing and monitoring of compliance and ethics policies, codes of conduct and corporate governance codes
- Overseeing of the AOP Health Group’s whistleblowing system
- Performing risk-assessments, maintaining an effective awareness and understanding of compliance management development processes, as well as conducting internal audits
- Monitoring legal and business developments in relevant compliance areas
- Advising and training AOP Health Group management and employees on compliance matters
- Providing in-house legal advice on a broad range of legal matters (such as medicinal product law, medical device law, international contract law, etc.)
- Drafting, negotiating and reviewing a range of international contracts
- Collect legal information and provide internal legal support on a day-to-day basis
- Collaborate closely with external counsel from different countries
- Support different departments with their legal needs, both internationally and within Austria
Your Qualifications and Experience
Your Qualifications and Experience
- University Law degree on Master level from reputable university
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a law firm and/or in-house as compliance counsel
- Admittance to the bar is an asset but not a requirement
- Commercial contract law drafting skills and excellent negotiation skills
- Sharp communication and analytical skills
- Capability and willingness to interact with business-oriented departments
- Team player with a solution-oriented work-style and a customer centric mindset
- Able to handle complex tasks in alignment with supervisor but largely individually
- Well organized with the ability to handle multiple high-priority projects in parallel
- Proficient in German and English (any additional languages are an asset but not a requirement)
- Well-versed in Office 365
